Fireworks!!

Every year the town next to us, Stedman, does fireworks the Sunday before the fourth. This year because of sceduling conflicts, only Naomi could come with me.
We found a few friends and we all sat together. Ragno had his friend Noah, and they played the whole time. We were sitting next to a small hill and the kids just ran up and down all evening. We laid out a blanket and hauled out a few chairs to sit in. The fireworks started at 9pm and they lit up the sky until 9:20. Ragno has always been wary of the light show and sits in someone's lap until they're over, but because Noah was there, he was brave and sat on the blanket. He isn't afraid anymore, I guess peer pressure isn't all bad. I enjoy this beautiful country, I am grateful for the freedoms we have. Thanks to all those men who risked their lives to bring that about.

Hiking

One of the things I miss is being in the mountains in minutes. When we lived in Logan, Neko and I would go at least once a week on a trail or just go cook some tin foil dinners (one of my all time favorite meals). When we visited Shannon and Emily, they had a really fun activity for us to do. Shannon had a map from school of a trail in the canyon and a lot of landmarks and points of interest marked. He told the kids it was a treasure map and we followed it. Ragno and Macgyver stuck together like glue.And Shaylie kept a close eye on May LynnThere was a really cool brick oven that was huge, we all piled on for a group shot (sorry May Lynn!)
Earlier Emily had hidden a little bag of 'treasure" aka chocolate.



Of course we had to hike all over the mountain to find it! And I was carrying Varden, who is not light load and very tired, but it was well worth it.

We also got to see a beautiful waterfall that Shannon and Oma took Ragno, Shaylie and Macgyver up to see, they took the picture

I sure miss being there, but at least I don't have to spend very many mornings scraping ice/snow/frost off MY windshield!

Three kids

I have been a little MIA for a while, the season for business is upon us and I get busy. But, I have some things to report, so here I am. First of all, I have joined Pampered Chef, I would love to give a show for anyone who wants one. I am really excited about it and I think it will be good for me. Yea for cooking
I have also just returned from the WEST!! Neko's Mom, Dad and sister(Naomi) and I drove with the three kids to logan, Ut. We drove straight through...we got there with no major to-do. Ragno and May Lynn were sick and throwing up, but it could have been alot worse. We spent the week with Neko's brother, Shannon and his family, Emily and Shaylie and Macgyver. Shannon graduated from Utah State on May 2nd, way to go bro!
After that the kids and I drove to Nampa, ID. I could not get over how open everything was. I didn't realize how much I missed the desert landscape. Someone asked me if I ever felt claustrophobic, I said no at the time but when I got home I realized I was! But I drove up to the house and all my family came running up and about knocked me down. Now that was something I miss, it was so weird seeing how much everyone has changed. Alexis is so beautiful and Alyssa isn't my booger anymore :( Ragno had a blast riding the horses and driving Grandpa's tractor
and May Lynn clung to Ariel every second anytime she was over. i had a great time hangin' out with Mom and Aubrey and Alexis. And when we drove home, Mom called and told me she missed me already, but I have been missing them from the moment I left Caldwell. Thanks for loving us so much, i love you, too. I was also glad to see all those I got to see. I can't wait to visit again!

Dad and Addison Visited

Here is a link to an album of the time Dad and Addison came down to bless Varden. We asked Dad to to the honor this time. We thought it would be a special thing for the grandpas to bless two of our children, and Varden looks just like Gary!People assume he looks like Neko because all they look at is the hair, but his face is all Grandpa Gary. Ragno and Addison had a fun time on the tramp, Ragno doesn't have anyone to really wrestle with, so he got to test his real strength on his uncle. I think he won, but Addison got a few good moves in. We spent time at the Ripley's Aquarium in Myrtle Beach, SC. That is a fun place to go, they have scuba divers to feed the fish every few hours and you get to ride a conveyer belt in a tunnel under the shark tank. Ragno and May Lynn did not want to leave. I also got to relax at the room while May Lynn and Varden napped and the boys went for a walk on the beach. It was a pleasant weekend. If anyone else wants to visit, please do!!

Twilight

I was reading over my old posts and I forget to mention that they let me out of the hospital on the day Twilight came out. I went.

I'm Back

Well, I have been a little MIA for the past month. It's easy to get in a routine that is boring with a newborn. You have to really want to leave the house. And I mean REALLY want to, or have to, like church. I haven't left the house all week. But I have such high energy kids that I need to go to a park for a few hours.
Great news...Ragno gave up his binkys. They have been his comfort and crutch for three years, and he traded them for Thomas, Percy, Gordon and Emily(The trains) in one night. He was so brave and good about it, too, no whining or asking for them back, it wa the right time. Go me!!
My daughter is a bad combination of being too cute and too independent. She wants to do everything herself, and since she is so small it is hard for me to realize that she can. And she likes pink. I'm not sure if it was forced upon her (Ragno gets blue and May Lynn gets pink) or if she just really likes it. She has to wear something pink, even just the flowers on her pants. How do you do it Anny???
Baby Varden...he is big. he's not chubby, he is BIG. Almost as big as May Lynn. He is the most average baby, he eats about every three hours, He sleeps about two hours, then he plays and smiles. He has a schedule (what 8 week old has a schedule?!) and he goes to sleep when the other two do. BLESSINGS!
Neko surprised me big time for my birthday. First he and the kids got me great gifts, an electronic keyboard and Dance Dance Revolution for the 360. Then Neko left a note with his sister to give me that said to go home and pack bacause he was taking me away for the night and next day. We drove to Myrtle Beach. It is so beautiful this time of year, no one is there. the weather was perfect and we stayed in a really nice hotel for very cheap, yea off-season!! Myrtle Beach is my new favorite place! I love my husband.
Now we are doing some major clean-up, Naomi is moving in with us for about a month or so, and we are making sure we have as much space as possible. Anything we don't use, is gone, and I mean everything. I love decluttering, it makes me feel good to get rid of STUFF. Anyway, that's about it for now. Love ya'll!

12 Blessings of Christmas

I am so excited for Christmas. I have such a beautiful family and I am so blessed in so many ways. I am going to write the 12 Days of Christmas, but things that I am grateful for.

1-I am blessed to have a kind, supportive and loving husband. (Not to mention he's SMOKIN'!!)

2-My children are learning about Jesus and His life

3-My parents and siblings love me and always have time to talk to me

4-I am blessed with In-laws that are understanding and accepting

5-My baby sleeps through a lot of the night, which means more sleep for Mommy!

6-My Tahoe!

7-I know that if I ever have a problem, I can go to my Heavenly Father for help and He will listen to me

8-The knowledge of the gospel is a great blessing

9-Ragno, May Lynn and Varden are great joys in my life and every day I thank the Lord that he allowed me to raise them

10-I love the computer and Internet and the ability to use them. Also the printers and cameras and cell phones and the age of electronics

11-The giving Spirit of the Holidays, everyone is a little nicer and a little more patient. I was shopping with the kids and everytime I needed some help someone was there to help me. I hope my children will understand that giving is the best gift

12-The Savior, Jesus Christ. He was born and He has redeemed us of our sins. This time of year would have no meaning if that fact was not true. But it is, and I know it, I know Jesus was born and I know that he died for us. I know I can live with Him and my family again after we die, and that is the best thing about Christmas.

I challenge all of you to make your own list and remember Jesus this Christmas. I love you all and have a Merry Christmas!!

Baby Webb

Hey everyone! I am very tired, and I am not going to spend my precious time blogging right now, but I thought I should at least let ya'll know that I DID finally have a baby. It was a boy, he was born on November 18th at 5:29 am. He was 10 lbs and 23 in. His name is Varden Kael Webb. In case you were wondering (you know you were) it is a hybrid of VarSelle and Arden, our paternal grandfathers. We just liked the name Kael. Anyway, that's it for now, I have pics on Facebook if you are on it, but if not I can email some to you if you want. 'Night!!

Waiting...

Yes, there is still no baby. It wouldn't be a big deal, but the movie Twilight comes out on Thursday at midnight and I already bought my ticket. Yes, I am a fan. I can go see it later, but there is a group from the ward going and I really pulled it all together, so I really want to go!! If you haven't read the books, then you probably think I am crazy, but for those of you who have, you understand. I will post again when I have something to report. I love ya'll!

Preparing

I have been thinking a lot lately about the things I'll need for after the baby is born, and I always try to do the minimum. Every list I have ever seen, you know the ones..the 'essentials'..I haven't needed half of the things on it. So I remember what I used in the past and go from there. But it is so much fun looking at baby things. I always WANT to get more more more. I don't need four wipes boxes, or three bags of newborn diapers, or seven diaper bags. I don't even NEED any clothes at all, Ragno and May Lynn were spoiled enough to last through all the rest of the babies we will be blessed to have.
I also have been reading the after baby stuff, like sleep when the baby sleeps, don't do any laundry, don't worry if the beds aren't made, dishes aren't as important as your health. But every time I read those things I think, 'well, I feel better when the beds are made.' And if the whole day is just chaos, like I know it will be for a little while, then at least one thing will have gotten done. And I can't even sleep when we are all asleep, let alone take a nap while the kids are awake, so even though I know the advice is well intended (like all advice is) I think I will just toss it all out and do what works for me. And that includes dishes.
