First Foods

Jane tried her first rice cereal. It was not well received, and even after a few weeks she doesn't like it. So we will be moving on to something else. She likes bananas.
Ragno wanted to help, but he came right at the end. Maybe next time, there will be plenty of opportunites.

Update, she likes sweet potatoes!

Disaster

A tornado came through our ward on Friday afternoon. It hit one neighborhood very hard and Neko went to help out. A few families homes were destroyed and we are doing what we can for them. I just wanted to show people what it looks like now. Keep them in your prayers! We were fine, just got some rain and wind.

Christmas with the Webbs

I am finally getting around to posting about Christmas. It's amazing how slowly you type with a baby in your arms. We have been having problems with our phones and camera, the pictures are not very good or plentiful, so you get what you get. The boys got a bunch of wood from Santa and tools and bolts. We 'figured out' what it was for and put it together.

When it was all put together it ended up being a bunk bed! The girls gave them a rope, so they put it on there, too. Pretty cool.

The girls got a bunch of books and credit for a book store.

All in all it was pretty good! We got Nutella from our friends (who we gave Nutella to!) Varden got a gumball bank (perfect!), May Lynn got a Tinker Bell wand (perfect!), Ragno got a shark casting kit (perfect!) and Jane got some cute shoes (perfect!) They all recieved clothes and crayon rolls, some got tote bags, and birdhouses, jewelry boxes and candy. We also got to spend a lot of time with our friends and family, which we love to do. Merry Chrismas! (Well, Happy Valentine's)

Happy Birthday Nephew!

My nephew turned three! His parents rented a jumping house shaped like a monster truck and a giant inflatable slide. It also came with a cotton candy maker. We got there early to help set up and get things ready. Well, I sat on the couch with the baby while Neko and his brother set everything up and all the kids ran around outside. We spent the whole afternoon and evening playing and eating, and the kids slept well that night! They invited almost everyone they know, knew or will ever come to know and there were 43 kids at the final count. It was nuts! I had so much fun playing with all the kids(Neko and I were just about the only adults willing to look silly and get down to play with the kids) We had so much fun!

She's finally here. Jane Cara Webb chose to start her earthly existance on October 27th at 2:30pm. She was 9lbs and 3oz and 21in long. we all guessed when she would be born, I felt like it would be the 26th. I had a mtg that evening which I went to, and when I go home, I started having contractions. So I was mostly right. I am so happy to have such a good baby, she hardly cries and she just wants to be held all the time. I am so blessed to have such great kids, and I wish sometimes they could stay this small forever. Then Varden poos in his diaper and takes it off then puts his pants back on, and I just want them to grow up! Welcome the this world Baby Jane!

Dinner out with the Family

Neko's brother and family came to town today. We were excited, the boys played and had a good time. We went out to dinner at Joe's Crab Shack. After that, we were going to go home so Ragno could be in bed at a decent hour for school. I have onl been to JCS once before, and I didn't really enjoy it, but I am willing to give restraunts a second chance. This is how I felt before...

We waited for an hour after we ordered for our food. Several tables got their food who sat down after we did. And I ate and left with the kids before two members of our party even got their food. It wasn't very busy, and we weren't happy. This is how we felt after...

I will NOT be going there again.

Summer Slidin'

Last year Ragno got a Slip N Slide for his birthday. He loved it so much and he asked all winter to play with it. I love to watch the different ways the kids come up with to play with it. It keeps them entertained for hours, not to mention cool in the eastern air.

I'm a little sad that I can't slide with them, I guess there's always next year! And poor Varden always misses out on the fun with those pesky naps. Oh well, he will have plenty of summers to be hot.

A pancake's worst nightmare

For a while, we ate pancakes for breakfast every morning. ( Mostly beacuse I kept forgetting to get cereal) Ragno eats them plain, with his hands. May Lynn likes butter and syrup, just like Daddy. I don't really care for pancakes in the first place, but this baby really hates them. I can't even nibble, blech! But Varden has the best technique. In this video he has already eaten at least three pancakes of this size. It is so funny, do you think he could win AFV?
